Graeme Smith is now batsman no.1 according to ICC ratings.He displaced Tendulkar who was previously at this position.South africa team is now no.1;& now captain smith is also no.1 which is a good news for South african team.Team came to first position because of Bangladesh series;& now,Smith is no.1 with just 199 runs ahead of Sachin.
He was 24 points behind befor the start of series & he got that back.His form is fantastic from last 7 months.He has 15 half centuries,1 century in 19 innings with an averege of 52.35 in his account from last 7 months.
Tendulkar was at no.1 after the series agianst Australia,but Smith achieved that position in not even two weeks.he will be no.1 for 3 months from now.one more good news for south africa is Nel is now at no.6 in bowling ratings & De'villers is now at position no.9.
