Is this due to more intesrest in Cricket??

oh no!!...India lost hockey match against GBR yesterday...so sad!!.Obviously now questions are going to rise why India lost?
1.Is this due to politics in board?
2.Is this due to the people of India who have more interest in cricket?(including me.)
Sources say that they(players)don't have money to buy even a kit.They wash their cloths by their hands.In cricket where IPL gives average of 2.9 Cr Rs. per player...the hockey player don't get even Rs.1.5 lakh per player.
Whatever the reason may be...but its final that India won't play in Olympics for the first time after 80 years.
